At the trade fair, RIO is presenting its cloud-based transport management system (TMS) Cartright, which offers TMS and telematics from a single source through the integration of RIO telematics data. In addition, the Munich-based software house is announcing an Order Communications upgrade for the Pocket Driver app, which enables a bookable connection to any TMS. This gives drivers and dispatchers real-time access to tour data such as the quantity, weight or dimensions of the load, as well as communication functions including status messages and chat.
In the area of telematics, RIO continues to rely on a cross-manufacturer approach that maps fleets centrally on one platform without the need for hardware retrofitting. Interface integration makes it easy to integrate tractors, trailers and vans from different manufacturers. This means that the RIO card can be used by almost all leading European truck and trailer manufacturers.
The complete package of TMS, telematics and driver communication enables real-time fleet management and process optimization in a cloud solution. Employees can access relevant data regardless of location, which saves time and money. The solutions are suitable for small fleets of five or more vehicles and offer maximum adaptability through flexible, daily booking without a contractual obligation.
