Accumulators and batteries containing lithium require highly sensitive handling. Strict laws limit the risks deriving from these potentially flammable components. For logistical processes surrounding production, storage, transport and disposal of accumulators and batteries, the plastics pioneer Craemer has designed robust pallet boxes made of high-quality polyethylene (PE). Perfect: the UN pallet boxes CB1 and CB3 for dangerous goods.
Logistical processes involving the use of lithium require reliable load carriers, from the manufacture of the products to the end of their service life. Plastic containers make a crucial contribution – like the Craemer pallet boxes with UN approval. Founded in 1912, the Craemer Group, the world’s leading manufacturer of plastic (intra-)logistics solutions with four production sites in Germany and other European countries, has been processing plastics since 1958.
The UN-certified CB pallet boxes are made of high-quality PE and particularly suitable for the logistical processes in connection with the production, transport, storage and disposal of lithium batteries and accumulators. The one-piece injection-moulded plastic boxes in Euro format (CB1) and industrial size (CB3) with closed walls and highly robust design are provided with three unwelded longitudinal runners, airtight lids and two tensioning straps. Transponder brackets allow to retrofit RFID tags, printing fields for logo embossing, labelling or numbering.
Whether the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), requirements concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID), by sea (IMDG Code), by air (IATA-DGR) or the UN Recommendations for Dangerous Goods: Thanks to their design, the UN pallet boxes CB1 and CB3 fulfil the international regulations with the testing requirements for dangerous goods of packaging groups II and III.
