Tips for Exhibitors
Dear exhibitors: Join our green team and act for the future!
When you exhibit at the fair, you play an important role in shaping a sustainable event. Here are some practical tips on how to make your participation more sustainable:
If possible, choose public transportation or carpool with your colleagues.
Choose a hotel that is within walking distance and/or uses environmentally friendly practices.
Consolidate your shipments and preferably use transport and logistics companies that use sustainable methods.
Give preference to local suppliers to support the local economy and reduce transport routes.
Give preference to suppliers that meet environmental and social criteria.
If you serve food at your stall, choose locally sourced and plant-based products and avoid using single-use plastic.
Avoid wasting food and order only the amount you need.
Participate actively in the initiatives and discussions during the event that will support the sustainable development of your sector.
Inspire visitors by showcasing the sustainable qualities of your products.
Use our all-in stand package and the numerous customization options.
Do not use printed information material. Use the possibilities of our smart badge technology (storing documents and information) and actively encourage trade visitors to scan your smart badge reader at the stand.
If printed material cannot be avoided in individual cases, make sure to use reusable materials (without dates).
Choose an all-in reusable booth model from the event organizer or design your own booth so that the structure can be reused multiple times year after year. Work with your booth builder to make your booth as sustainable as possible! Avoid building a disposable booth just for one event…
Create reusable signage (without dates) using recyclable materials and eco-friendly ink where possible
Use LED lighting and other energy efficient devices for your booth and don’t forget to turn them off at the end of the day.
Try not to use carpet and if you really need it, preferably choose reusable carpet tiles. If you use regular carpet, make sure it is recyclable and recycled.
