Public transport
Travellers from Zurich main station have a connection to Oerlikon station every 6 minutes with the S-Bahn lines S2, S6, S7, S8, S9, S14, S15, S16, S19 and S24.
From Oerlikon station, Messe Zürich can be reached in a few minutes on foot, by tram no. 11 or by bus lines 61, 62 and 94.
By car
The BERNEXPO site is located a few hundred metres from the Wankdorf motorway junction. From the motorway exit, follow the signs to ‘BERNEXPO’/‘expo’.
Car park
The Expo car park is located directly next to the event site. There are also all-weather car parks on and next to the site. Pay your parking fees with SEPP: The parking meter app works for iOS and Android and can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple Store or Google Play. There are currently no permanent parking spaces available in the expo car park.
The exhibition centre in Zurich can be easily reached by car as follows:
Basel/Bern: A1 Nordring – ZH-Affoltern or ZH-Seebach – A1 ZH-Altstetten
Chur: A3 ZH-Wiedikon or A3 Westumfahrung – A1 Nordring – ZH-Affoltern or ZH-Seebach
Rapperswil: A53 onto the A1 in the direction of Zurich -A1 ZH-Schwamendingen/Dübendorf
Schaffhausen/Zurich Airport: A51 Opfikon/ZH-Oerlikon
Winterthur/St. Gallen: A1 ZH-Schwamendingen/Dübendorf
by plane
Messe Zürich is only 10 km from the airport and can be reached from there by public transport in 12 minutes.
